Antti Tuomela
Dr. Antti Tuomela, Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder of Spacent has over 20 years of experience in real estate industry and business development. Spacent combines office resources and on-demand workspaces to a seamless workplace solution. Before his career at Spacent he was CEO of Aalto University Properties responsible for the Europe’s second largest university campus investment programme.
Prior to his career at Aalto University, he held several C-level positions at Newsec and senior positions at Senate Properties. Antti has recently become an expert and a popular speaker about post-pandemic workplaces.
Johanna Tarvainen-Lee
Johanna leads the Event Committee of the Canada-Finland Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the CFCC board of directors since 2011. Over the last 13 years, her background has been in international business development helping Finnish companies with their North American internationalization.
She is currently also working with Howspace as a Customer Success Manager, where she helps consultants, facilitators, organizational development practitioners, and learning professionals bring groups of people together to collaborate on change initiatives and learning programs through Howspace’s AI-powered digital collaboration platform.
Troy Pfeffer
For the last year, Troy has been instrumental in the developing the strategy and expansion of Howspace across the Americas. As the VP of Partnerships & Strategy of the Americas team, Troy helps lead the expansion of the world’s most advanced digital facilitation platform. Howspace’s growth continues at ever-increasing rates as more and more companies and organizations embrace the new business environment, which is founded on improved engagement, co-creation, and the collaboration of people.
Prior to this role, Troy spent 20 years working at Cintas, most recently acting as their Competitive Intelligence Director (Cintas is the publicly held company most known for providing uniforms and supplies to businesses).
Kelly Leight
Kelly Leitch is the managing director for KONE Canada. In this role, he oversees operations across the service, modernization, and new equipment business lines in the Canadian market. With over 20 years of industry experience, Kelly is a proven leader in operations management and business development.
Kelly was appointed to this role in 2010, and has served in progressive management positions in construction, installation, quality, and new equipment business since joining KONE in 1999. Most recently, he served as the director of operations for KONE Canada.
Kelly received his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto.
Marika Arovuo
Marika is the President of Canada-Finland Chamber of Commerce and the Founder & CEO of GRIT Online Inc.
Marika is a driven international business owner who has lived and operated successful businesses in three continents over the past 15 years. She helps businesses grow through designing elegant digital experiences that generate leads, convert clients, and encourage ongoing transactions.
For Marika nothing is more satisfying than working together with entrepreneurs to plan and execute custom digital marketing strategies that propel their businesses to a higher level. Bart Koniecek
Bart is an energetic Coach and Sales Professional. With a proven track record of sales growth in retail and commercial segments he brings a fresh perspective to meaningful relationship building through sales leadership. Having experienced a variety of work environments during his career ranging from traditional office (Microsoft), to work from home Whirlpool), hybrid office (Halton) he brings a unique perspective to life during and post pandemic.
As the expert in improving indoor environmental quality through work with Halton’s unique technology solutions Bart offers great insights into fighting contagions in the post pandemic workspace.
