Dear CFCC friend,
A couple of weeks ago, we came together to celebrate at our annual Christmas party at the Albany Club. Thank you to those people who were able to make it! For those who couldn’t join us this year, we hope to see you next year!
As I reflect on this past year, we’ve had some great opportunities to meet at events to learn, connect and just have fun. We’ve played golf, learned about trends in the retail business, and got clarity on where the cannabis sector is heading. The European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada (EUCCAN) also offered several interesting events (which are also open to CFCC members).
Our network
The CFCC is becoming more visible on social media and therefore, adds more value to its members and Finnish business interests. Member companies can take advantage of this network by providing or suggesting relevant content for us to publish.
Please consider becoming a member in order to take advantage of the member discounts and other benefits. Now, the membership cycle is 12 months instead of the calendar year.
Our board
Once you have become a member, you might also want to consider serving as a director of the CFCC. We meet several times a year but only twice in person; the other meetings we do online for convenience. Being a board member brings you to a completely new level in making important connections and is fun and fulfilling. If you are interested, feel free to contact me directly or any other board member.
As always, feel free to be in touch with questions and consider becoming a member.
Sincerely,
Lauri Asikainen
