Eric Harkonen is the Founder & President of Vetta Nordic Spa (Vetta) which will become a world class, luxury Nordic Spa in the Barrie, Ontario area.
As an Entrepreneur and Professional Engineer, Eric led a team of Engineers and Designers and external consultants working for Vetta Nordic Spa Inc. and interacted with many external agencies (Nottawasaga Conservation Authority, Township of Oro-Medonte, Simcoe County, etc.) to a produce a fully permitting site plan at Horseshoe Valley.
Permitting was accomplished in just under one year from start to finish. As part of the project, Eric was also successful in raising $4.4M in private equity as well as senior debt financing which he will discuss in the panel. Eric has a P.Eng., MBA, and PMP.
