Finland 100 Toronto is a community initiative that is an official partner of the Suomi 100 Finland project created to honour the centennial of the independence of Finland through special events organized by Finns and expatriate Finns around the world in the centennial year, 2017.

Finland 100 Toronto is planning 4 special events that are likely to be of interest to people of different ages. Each of the events will provide an opportunity to celebrate Finland, Finnish culture and what it means to have a connection with Finland and “Finnishness”. The events also provide you an opportunity to learn about “Finnishness” – and may leave you wishing you had some Finnish creativity or “sisu” (tenacity) flowing in your veins!

Cryptocurrency Panel Presentation

CFCC Event

Cryptocurrencies & the Token Economy

All are welcome to a fascinating interactive evening called

“Tales from the Crypto”
The rise of the token economy

You’ve probably heard about digital or ‘crypto’ currencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. But you probably don’t realize the extent of the crypto-currency infrastructure and how it’s evolving to change how value itself is created, traded and managed.

Our next event, on Tuesday, October 24th, will explore how crypto-currencies are changing the commerce landscape. Come learn about how companies are issuing their own crypto tokens through “Initial Coin Offerings” (ICOs) and the challenges and opportunities of ICOs.

Join us for a fascinating Q&A with Reuven Cohen, Founder of CoinLaunch. Reuven will be offering his insight on how CoinLaunch’s platform allows individuals and companies to issue their own tokens for anything they can imagine through a secure yet simple to use hosted service.

Q&A panel:

Moderator:             Larry Innanen, Innplay

Founder:                Reuven Cohen, CoinLaunch
